A Vision Born from Love: The Sewing School Project for Christian Women in Punjab, Pakistan
For many years, a deep longing has lived within my heart—a dream born out of compassion and faith, a vision nurtured through prayer and trust in God’s timing. Like a couple whose love matures into the miracle of childbirth, this project has been growing quietly in my spirit. What began as a tender thought has developed into a living vision—ready to be born into the world through the grace of God. As the Psalm below reminds us about feeling the inner joy in the Lord so am I feeling while i am posting this story.
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”— Psalm 37:4
Now, just as true love between two people gives birth to life, so divine love between God and those who wants to serve Him gives birth to vision. When love begins, it starts with a thought, a spark of connection, and grows through time, faithfulness, and shared hope. Think about how God's love for creating such beuatiful universe and the world in it came to happen. Eventually, the idea and the concept matures and brings forth new life—a reflection of God’s creative heart.
In the same way, God placed within me the dream of a Sewing School for suffering and laboring Christian women in Punjab, Pakista. It had been in my heart for years but due to tight circumstances, I could not dare to even start talking about it. But something like an encouraging voice within me has been pushing and finally enabled me to start talking about it. Punjab is a place where brokenness can will meet opportunities for suffering Christian women, where despair will be replaced by dignity, and where women can rebuild their lives through the work of their hands.
The Birth of a Godly Vision
For years, this vision had been like a child in the womb—hidden, forming, sustained by faith and prayer. Now, as the time draws near, I believe God is saying, “It is time for delivery.” This project, planned to begin in summer 2026, will serve as a place of empowerment for Christian women who struggle to survive amidst poverty, discrimination, and limited opportunities.
The Sewing School will offer practical training in tailoring and stitching, enabling women to earn a living, support their families, and stand with dignity. More than just a skill center, it will be a place of spiritual growth, prayer, and encouragement—a space where women experience God’s love in action.
“She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands... She makes linen garments and sells them, and delivers sashes to the merchant.”— Proverbs 31:13, 24
An Invitation to Midwife God’s Dream
Every birth requires care, patience, and helping hands. I invite you to become a spiritual midwife—to help this Godly vision come to life. Your prayers, financial gifts, and practical support can bring this project from the womb of faith into the world of reality.
We will need sewing machines, tables, chairs, fabrics, shelves, and basic tools. We also welcome those willing to share their professional expertise, teaching women how to build sustainable livelihoods. Each contribution—whether material or spiritual—is a seed that God can multiply into a harvest of blessing.
“Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”— 2 Corinthians 9:6
Be Part of God’s Creative Miracle
When you support this project, you are not only giving equipment or money—you are giving hope, purpose, and a new beginning. You are helping to birth something that was once only a dream in one heart but is now ready to bless many.
Let us think beyond our own homes and horizons, joining hearts to make this vision come alive for God’s glory. Together, we can help these women rise, shine, and testify to His faithfulness through the work of their hands.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”— Matthew 5:16

Five Essential Reflection Questions
1. Personal Inventory
What "small step" have you been avoiding because it feels too insignificant to you? What would change if you started taking it today?
2. Consistency & Sustainability
Are you currently in a season of "bursts and burnout" or "steady and sustainable"? What would need to change to shift toward consistency?
3. Spiritual & Cultural Wisdom
St. Francis de Sales said to "have no anxiety, but advance constantly." What anxiety is keeping you from taking your next small step? What would it look like to release that anxiety?
4. Looking Back, Moving Forward
Looking back, what small decisions shaped who you are today? Did you appreciate them at the time?
5. The Uncomfortable Questions
The blog mentions that "the journey changes you." What kind of person are your current small steps shaping you into? Is that who you want to become?
Take time to sit with one question this week. Journal your thoughts, pray about it, or discuss it with someone you trust.
